We have four stores and each one keeps its own stock sheet. Can you combine them without retyping everything?
Yes. Each store's sheet is cleaned and mapped to one shared item master, then its closing stock comes in as that store's location in Nidhi Inventory. The same item written three different ways across stores is flagged for you to merge, not silently dropped. Your original sheets stay with you.
Our counters bill in Excel or a basic billing app. What do cashiers use after the move?
Counter billing moves to Nidhi POS, with barcode scanning and Cash, UPI or Card payments. Every bill reduces that store's stock in Nidhi Inventory as it is made, so head office sees sales and stock without waiting for an end-of-day sheet.
How do stock transfers between our stores and the godown work?
A transfer is recorded once in Nidhi Inventory: it leaves the sending location and arrives at the receiving one, so nobody keys it twice in two sheets. Where the central godown needs bin-level stock and scan-verified picking, Nidhi Warehouse adds bins, put-away, pick and pack, and cycle counts. Who can raise and approve a transfer is set up in the assessment.
Can we keep using Excel for some reports?
Yes, where it helps. If the owner or your CA wants a report in a spreadsheet layout, which reports and in what format is agreed in the assessment and set up as part of the customisation in your plan. The difference is that the figures come from one live system instead of being stitched together from every store's file, so they agree with each other.
Do we have to switch all stores on the same day?
No. The cut-over order is agreed in the assessment. Many chains prefer to run one store in parallel first so staff learn on their own items and bills, then move the rest once the numbers match. We do not promise a timeline before we have seen your sheets and stores.
