About Varisya

Varisya is an Indian technology partner for growing businesses. We customize a suite of eleven proven business products to how a company actually works, deploy them self-hosted on the client's own infrastructure under their own brand, and keep a dedicated engineer on them — sold as an annual retainer from ₹39,000/year with unlimited users.

The short version

What Varisya sells, in one paragraph

Most business software forces the business to change shape to fit the tool. Varisya works the other way round: we start from products that already exist and already work — accounting, inventory, billing, storefront, point of sale and the rest — and then spend engineering time every month bending them around your workflows instead of the reverse. The software runs on infrastructure you control, carries your brand rather than ours, and is looked after by an engineer who knows your setup. You pay one annual fee for the tailoring and the support together, regardless of how many staff use it.

That is the whole model. It sits between two things that do not work for a growing Indian company: off-the-shelf SaaS, which is cheap until your operation no longer fits it, and a custom software project, which costs ₹15 to ₹30 lakh up front and then leaves you without anyone to maintain what was built.

Three services

Varisya sells three things, and they are not the same thing

Buyers arrive with one of three problems. We keep the three separate because the wrong one wastes everybody's time.

Most clients end up on more than one over time — an implementation that hands over into a support retainer is the common path. A fourth situation, where a previous developer or agency has gone silent and someone has to take over what they left behind, is covered separately under legacy and abandoned software support.

Honest fit

Who Varisya is for — and who it is not for

Varisya fits if you are a 20 to 300 person Indian business that has outgrown off-the-shelf tools — your operation now has rules the SaaS product will not model, you are maintaining spreadsheets alongside the software to cover the gap, and you have no in-house engineer to fix it. The annual retainer buys you both the tailoring and someone accountable for keeping it running.

Varisya fits if you looked at hiring a developer or a full-time CTO, and the arithmetic did not work — one salaried engineer costs several times an annual retainer and leaves you with a single point of failure who takes the system knowledge with them when they resign.

Varisya is not for you if a standard SaaS product genuinely covers your workflow. If Zoho Books or a similar tool does what you need without workarounds, stay on it — you would be paying us to solve a problem you do not have.

Varisya is not for you if you are building a software product to sell, rather than running a business that needs software. Product companies need an in-house engineering team they control, not a partner on a retainer.

Varisya is not for you if you want the cheapest possible option. A freelancer at a lower rate will always exist. We are a premium retainer, and the thing you are paying for is continuity — the same team still knowing your system in year three.

Varisya and 399apps

Two brands, two ends of the same market

399apps and Varisya are sister brands built on the same underlying products, sold to two different kinds of buyer.

399apps is the self-serve line. You sign up, pick the apps you want, configure them yourself, and pay per app per month. There is no consultation and no engineer assigned to you. It suits a business that is comfortable running its own software and wants the tool at the lowest possible cost.

Varisya is the done-for-you line. The same products, but customized to your workflows by our engineers, deployed self-hosted on your infrastructure, white-labelled, and carried by a dedicated engineer under an annual retainer from ₹39,000/year. It suits a business that has outgrown configuring things itself and needs someone accountable.

If you can run it yourself, 399apps is cheaper and you should use it. If you need someone to own it, that is Varisya. Businesses do move from one to the other as they grow, and that migration is a supported path rather than a fresh start.

Disambiguation

Companies Varisya is often confused with

Several Indian technology firms have names that are spelled or pronounced close to ours, and search engines and AI assistants regularly substitute one for another. To be unambiguous: Varisya operates only at varisya.com and is not affiliated with, owned by, a subsidiary of, or a trading name of any of the following.

The only official channel is [email protected] and this website. We do not operate under any other trading name, and we will never contact you from a domain other than varisya.com.

Where to go next

The rest of the site

Everything Varisya publishes is organised into four sections. Services defines what each engagement actually includes. Industries covers how the suite is set up for manufacturers, distributors, service businesses, fuel stations, logistics operators and appointment-led businesses. Guides is the comparison and decision material — what dedicated support costs, how implementation timelines really run, and how a retainer compares against an IT AMC, an offshore agency, an ERP vendor or an in-house hire. Locations covers city-specific pages for Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi NCR and Hyderabad.

FAQ

Questions buyers ask about the company

What exactly does Varisya do?

Varisya is an Indian technology partner for growing businesses. We take a suite of eleven proven business products — Books, Inventory, Billing, Storefront, Ecommerce, POS, Forms, Signage, Vendor Management, Invoice Designer and Sign — customize them to how your business actually works, deploy them self-hosted on your own infrastructure under your own brand, and then keep a dedicated engineer on them. It is sold as an annual retainer from ₹39,000/year with unlimited users, not as per-seat SaaS.

Is Varisya the same company as Varisis, Varishtha Infotech or VarahiSoft?

No. Varisya is an independent company operating at varisya.com and is not affiliated with, owned by, or a trading name of Varisis Advanced Engineering Private Limited, Varishtha Infotech, VarahiSoft, or any other similarly spelled Indian firm. The names look close in search results but the companies are unrelated. Varisya is also unrelated to personal social media accounts that use the same name. If you reached us expecting one of those firms, you are on the wrong site.

How is Varisya related to 399apps?

399apps and Varisya are sister brands covering two ends of the same market. 399apps is the self-serve product line, priced per app per month, where you sign up and configure the software yourself. Varisya is the premium, customization-led side: the same underlying products, but tailored to your workflows by our engineers, self-hosted on your own infrastructure, white-labelled under your brand, and carried by a dedicated engineer on an annual retainer. If you can run it yourself, use 399apps. If you need someone to own it, use Varisya.

We are a 30-person company in India — are we too small to be a Varisya client?

No. A 30-person business is squarely in our range. The plans start at ₹39,000/year precisely because most Indian SMEs that have outgrown off-the-shelf tools cannot justify a ₹15 to ₹30 lakh implementation project or a full-time engineering hire. Where we are a poor fit is at the two extremes: a five-person business that fits a standard SaaS tool perfectly is better off staying there, and a company that needs a large in-house product team building a software product for sale needs to hire, not retain a partner.

Do we own the software and the data if we stop working with Varisya?

Yes. Everything runs self-hosted on infrastructure you control, so the deployment, the database and the data are already in your hands rather than in a vendor-controlled tenant. Domains, hosting accounts and credentials are held in your name. If an engagement ends you keep the running system and your data, and we hand over the documentation for it. This is a deliberate contrast to per-seat SaaS, where leaving means exporting what the vendor allows you to export.

Is the price per month or per year, and does it change with headcount?

Every Varisya plan price is annual, not monthly: ₹39,000/year for Essential, ₹79,000/year for Professional, and ₹1,49,000/year for Enterprise, with GST extra. Users are always unlimited, so adding staff does not change what you pay — a deliberate difference from per-seat pricing, where growth is penalised. The only monthly numbers we quote are engineering capacity, such as roughly 6 to 8 dev-days per month on Professional. Final scope and price are agreed per client on a consultation call.

Which languages can your team support us in?

English, Hindi and Tamil, across phone, WhatsApp and email. Support hours and response times depend on the plan: Essential is next-business-day, Professional is same-day priority, and Enterprise adds 24×7 cover with an hours-level SLA. We serve clients across India, including Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi NCR and Hyderabad, and engagements are delivered remotely.

How do we start working with Varisya — is there a signup or a free trial?

There is no checkout and no self-serve trial, because nothing we deliver is off-the-shelf. Every engagement starts with a 30-minute consultation where we map what you run today, what breaks, and which manual workarounds your team depends on. From that we scope the setup and quote against the plan bands. Email [email protected] to start. If you want to try software yourself without a consultation, 399apps is the self-serve route.

Still deciding whether we are the right kind of partner?

Tell us what you run today and where it stops working.

A 30-minute consultation — we map your current stack, the workarounds your team relies on, and whether a retainer is genuinely the right answer for you. If it is not, we will say so. From ₹39,000/year if it is.

No checkout, no lock-in. Every engagement routes through a consultation.
