For service businesses

Customers book online. Reminders send automatically. Billing is already done.

Varisya sets up your appointment booking system, wires every confirmed booking into your billing and POS, and keeps the whole thing running — so you stop managing appointments on WhatsApp.

The problem

WhatsApp booking works — until it doesn't

Most service businesses in India start the same way: a number, a group chat, and a register. It works at low volume. Then you get 40 unread messages, a double-booked chair, and a customer at the door who never got a confirmation.

55–65% of salon appointments in India are still booked by phone or WhatsApp. That is not because owners do not want online booking — it is because setting it up, keeping it running, and connecting it to billing is more than most owners have time to figure out.

Five gaps that compound as your booking volume grows:

What we set up

Six things we configure and keep running

Varisya does the implementation. You tell us your services, your staff, and your current booking setup. We build the rest.

Step 1
Bookable services
We configure every service you offer — haircut, consultation, coaching session, device repair — with the correct duration, price, and which staff member delivers it. Menu changes? We handle it.
Step 2
Staff availability
We configure availability schedules per staff member: working hours, lunch breaks, blocked dates, leave, and which services each person offers. Customers only see slots that are genuinely available.
Step 3
Public booking page
Your customers get a URL — no app download, no account required — where they can browse available slots and confirm a booking in under 60 seconds. Mobile-first, built to complete in three taps.
Step 4
Booking → billing, automatically
When a booking is confirmed, Varisya creates a draft invoice in Billing and queues the transaction in POS. By the time the customer arrives, the GST invoice is already drafted with the correct service, price, and tax treatment. No manual step between booked and billed.
Step 5
Automated WhatsApp reminders
Reminders go out at configured intervals before the appointment. Customers confirm or reschedule directly. No-show rates drop without anyone manually chasing messages. Cancelled slots open for rebooking immediately.
Ongoing
Named engineer
Configuration changes — new services, new staff, pricing updates, seasonal changes — go to your dedicated Varisya engineer, not a vendor support queue. The system evolves with your business, not against it.
How it compares

WhatsApp vs DIY software vs Varisya

Generic booking tools shift the setup burden to you. Varisya removes it entirely — and wires the booking into your billing, which no scheduling tool does.

WhatsApp + manual Generic booking software (DIY) Varisya done-for-you
Double-booking risk High — no calendar lock Low, if you configured it correctly None — we configure it
Customer booking experience Message and wait for reply Self-service, if you built it Self-service, we built it
GST-compliant invoice Raised manually in Tally Not generated Auto-drafted on booking confirmation
WhatsApp reminders Sent manually or not at all Manual or paid add-on Automated, pre-configured
Setup burden on you Low — but chaos grows with volume High — DIY setup and maintenance None — we handle everything

Service types

If your business sells time, this fits

Varisya's Appointments module is configurable to any service type that books slots. Each business type gets a configuration matched to how it actually operates.

Salons & spas
Per-seat booking, stylist-level availability, and service-wise pricing — walk-in and appointment slots can coexist on the same calendar without double-booking risk.
Clinics & diagnostic centres
Doctor-wise consultation slots, configurable walk-in vs appointment split, and billing wired to visit type so the GST invoice is already drafted when the consultation ends.
Tutoring centres & coaching institutes
Batch scheduling, one-on-one session booking, and student-wise session billing — each confirmed booking creates the correct invoice without the admin having to log it separately.
Repair shops
Device drop-off slot booking, job type selection at booking, and pickup scheduling — customers see exactly when the next slot is available, not a "we'll call you back."
Professional services
CA consultations, interior design site visits, personal training sessions, photography bookings — any service that sells time can have a public booking page that flows straight into billing.

FAQ

Questions service business owners ask first

Why don't Calendly or Zoho Bookings work for Indian service businesses?
Calendly and Zoho Bookings are scheduling tools built for meeting coordination — they confirm a time slot and send a calendar invite. They were not designed for service billing in India. Neither generates a GST-compliant tax invoice. Neither wires a confirmed booking to a POS transaction or a draft invoice in your accounting system. After a booking is confirmed in Calendly, your team still needs to raise the invoice manually in a separate system — two records that can drift apart, and double work every time. Zoho Bookings integrates with Zoho Books only; if you use Tally, BUSY, or a custom accounting setup, you're on your own. Varisya's Appointments module is part of the same software suite as Billing, Books, and POS — so a confirmed booking creates a draft invoice in the same system, with the correct service, price, and GST treatment already populated. No separate invoice step.
Does the booking page work for customers who are not tech-savvy?
The public booking page works on any mobile browser — no app to download, no account to create. The customer taps a link (sent over WhatsApp, added to your Instagram bio, or printed on a visiting card), selects a service, picks a slot, and confirms. Three taps from intent to confirmed booking. Research on Indian consumer behaviour is clear: if a booking flow takes more than three steps on mobile, drop-off is steep. The page is built to clear that bar. For customers who prefer calling, the phone option stays open — Varisya's booking page runs alongside your existing methods, not instead of them. You choose how much volume to shift online.
How does a confirmed booking wire into GST billing automatically?
Varisya's Appointments module sits inside the same stack as Billing and POS. When a booking is confirmed — by the customer on the public page or by your staff in the management panel — the system creates a draft invoice pre-filled with: the customer's name, the service booked, the price, the date, and the applicable GST rate for that service. Your staff sees the draft invoice when the customer arrives, confirms any add-ons or changes, and marks it complete. The invoice is already in the correct format — HSN/SAC code, CGST/SGST split, UPI reference if payment was collected at booking — ready for your GSTR-1. No re-entry, no cross-system copy-paste. The booking record and the billing record are the same record.
Can we configure different services and pricing per staff member?
Yes. Varisya lets you configure at the staff level: which services each team member offers, at what price, and in what time slot increments. A senior stylist and a junior stylist can have different rates for the same service. A doctor who offers 30-minute consultations and 60-minute procedures has different slot types from a physiotherapist who books in 45-minute windows. Customers selecting a service see only the staff members who offer it, at the correct rate. Staff members only receive bookings for services they are configured to deliver. If a staff member is on leave, their slots are blocked automatically — customers never see an availability that does not exist.
How does Varisya pricing work for appointment booking setup?
Varisya's Appointments module is part of the implementation retainer — not a separate add-on. The retainer starts at ₹39,000/year (Essential) and ₹79,000/year (Professional). Unlimited users are always included — no per-seat cost as your front desk team, staff, and management grow. The retainer covers the full setup (bookable services, staff availability, public booking page, billing integration, reminder configuration), dedicated engineering time each month for ongoing changes, and SLA-backed support. Every engagement starts with a scoping call to understand your service types, your staff structure, and your current booking setup before we configure anything. There is no checkout — you book the consultation first.
